If there’s one thing Young Sheldon does well, it’s blending academic absurdity with genuine family heart. Episode 14 of Season 2, “David, Goliath, and a Yoo-hoo from the Back,” is a perfect example. This episode pits Sheldon against his most formidable opponent yet (a university bureaucracy) while simultaneously pulling the rug out from under the Cooper family with a quiet, life-altering announcement. The episode opens with Sheldon enrolled in a difficult freshman physics class at East Texas Tech. Despite his brilliance, he’s being graded unfairly—or so he claims.
