Overview Microsoft has deprecated WMIC (Windows Management Instrumentation Command-line) in Windows 11. Starting with Windows 11 22H2, WMIC is disabled by default and will be removed in future releases. The recommended replacement is PowerShell with CIM (Common Information Model) cmdlets.
