It’s a necessary, powerful, but bloated toolkit. The Windows 11 SDK is an evolutionary improvement over the Windows 10 SDK, not a revolution. If you’re already on Visual Studio 2022, installing it is a no-brainer. If you’re maintaining old Win10 apps, you don’t need to upgrade unless you require Win11-specific visual or shell features.
