Deleting the config/plugins and config/docker folders instantly removes all plugin configurations, returning the webUI to a stock state while keeping array assignments.
Resetting often breaks Docker container paths or VM XML settings if you don’t first export your templates. The “Previous Apps” feature (Community Applications plugin) helps restore, but it’s not automatic. unraid reset
If you perform a hard reset without backing up config/super.dat , you’ll have to re-assign all your disks manually – a tedious process for large arrays. Unraid does warn you, but many miss it. but many miss it.
