Unhide Folder In Windows !!install!! May 2026

Check the box labeled Hidden items .

In the toolbar, click the View tab.

cd C:\Users\YourName\Documents To remove the hidden attribute from a folder named "SecretData", type: unhide folder in windows

Click Apply and then OK .

The folder will now behave like a normal, visible folder. If you prefer the classic interface or can't see the View tab, use Folder Options. Check the box labeled Hidden items

Open File Explorer (press Win + E ).

In the Folder Options window, go to the View tab. uncheck the Hidden attribute.

In the General tab, uncheck the Hidden attribute.
