The season introduced the —Sybil (Nathalie Kelley) and Selene (Kristen Gutoskie)—ancient servants of Cade who fed on the sins of the damned. For a show built on guilt and redemption, this was actually a genius thematic fit. Watching Damon and Enzo get "unhinged" (i.e., turned into torture-happy puppets) was genuinely disturbing.
