The feed flickered. For a split second, Maya saw not her own apartment, but an infinite hallway of identical living rooms, each with a slightly different version of herself: one crying, one laughing, one eating cereal at 3 AM, one staring blankly at a frozen loading screen.
The row contained exactly one title. A thumbnail: a vintage cathode-ray television, static-snow on its screen. The title read:

Maya stared at it. The rational part of her brain screamed malware . But the other part—the part that had devoured Black Mirror in one sitting—clicked. The screen didn’t load a video. It loaded a live feed. Grainy, low-resolution, as if filmed through the wrong end of a telescope. She saw a room. Her room.
“Must be a glitch,” she muttered, and went to sleep. The feed flickered
The next morning, Maya woke to a perfectly normal Netflix homepage. No extra rows. No live feeds. The error message was gone. She watched half an episode of The Crown , got distracted by her phone, and fell asleep.
The furniture was the same. Her monstera plant by the window. The chipped mug on the side table. But the lighting was wrong—too amber, like a sunset that never ended. And in the center of her couch, a figure sat. It was her. Maya stared at it
But now, below it, a second option had materialized: “Or continue to Season 0, Episode 2.”
