The live trial: "Tunnel of Terror." Contestants crawl through a mud pit filled with eels, cockroaches, and—unbeknownst to them—a hidden air cannon that sprays fish guts. The Olympic swimmer, Derek, freezes halfway. He starts hyperventilating. Our medic signals to stop, but the director’s voice crackles in my earpiece: "Keep rolling. This is Emmy gold."

What doesn't air: Twenty minutes before the winner announcement, Lily escapes the bunker and runs into the real jungle. We find her barefoot, hugging a monitor lizard, whispering, "They're watching me through the trees." Marcus quits on live TV—but we bleep his rant about "emotional torture."
