Hatim, accompanied by his loyal companions (Princess Zargam, the witty Djinn, and the loyal warrior Raka), arrives at a village at the edge of the Valley of Whispers. The villagers are terrified – their best hunters and healers have vanished after venturing onto the Bridge of Echoes. An old woman reveals the legend: “Centuries ago, Princess Anaya refused her sacred duty to guard the realm’s memory stone. Her lover died in her place. Now her regret has turned into a curse. As Hatim and his group ride away, a raven with glowing red eyes watches from a dead tree. It whispers: “He freed a prisoner of the past.
