The real Sergio Jadue did become an informant for the FBI in 2015, wearing a wire for months. His testimony led to over a dozen guilty pleas. Episode 7 fictionalizes the moment he was first approached. If you are watching the HDTVRip, pay close attention to the final five minutes in the cathedral. The lighting shifts from warm candle glow to cold, harsh daylight as Jadue exits—a visual metaphor for his loss of innocence and the coming exposure of soccer’s darkest secret.
The previous episode (S01E06) ended with Jadue being secretly recorded by the FBI via an informant, and his mentor, Leoz, beginning to suspect betrayal. This episode shifts from political maneuvering to the psychological and physical entrapment of Jadue. The title "La Catedral" refers both to a literal cathedral (where key characters meet for confession) and the "cathedral" of power that is crumbling around him.
La Catedral (The Cathedral) Original Air Date: June 5, 2020 (on Amazon Prime Video) Runtime: Approx. 50–55 minutes Context Recap (Leading into Episode 7) By Episode 7, the series—a darkly comedic yet dramatic retelling of the 2015 FIFA corruption scandal—has followed Chilean journalist and aspiring soccer official Sergio Jadue (played by Andrés Parra). Jadue has gone from a small-town club president to a key South American power broker, working under the corrupt CONMEBOL president Nicolás Leoz (and indirectly, the wider FIFA leadership).

Hola Vidal,
Saludos,
Nuno Neto
Hola Nuno! 🥭
Hi,
I have a group of friends that have a Mango Appreciation group, we meet with regular intervals and enjoy mango together.
It is a dream of ours to visit a plantation and pick ripe mangos. Could this be arranged?
Best regards
Howard
