If you’ve made it to Season 5 of Brassic , you know the drill: Vinnie’s schemes spiral, the gang’s loyalty gets tested, and someone ends up in a highly questionable situation involving livestock or stolen goods. Given Brassic ’s vibrant, sun-drenched Northern palette (all green fields, blue skies, and garish tracksuits), the rip holds up well. There’s minor compression artifacting in fast-moving scenes – of which there are many – and the occasional broadcast logo burn-in, but dialogue is clear, and the show’s excellent soundtrack (featuring another banger of a needle-drop) comes through without distortion.
